Kill Bill is a two-part action thriller film released in 2003 and 2004 by writer-director Quentin Tarantino, and starring Uma Thurman as The Bride. Originally conceived as one film, it was released in two "volumes" (in late 2003 and early 2004) due to its running time of approximately four hours. The film is an epic-length revenge drama, with homages to earlier film genres, such as Hong Kong martial arts films, Japanese Chanbara films, exploitation films and Italian spaghetti westerns; an extensive use of popular music and pop culture references; and aestheticization of violence. Filming took place in California, Texas, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Mexico
Kill Bill è il quarto film di Quentin Tarantino.Il film è uscito nelle sale cinematografiche diviso in due "volumi": secondo la Miramax, produttrice della pellicola, il film era troppo lungo, il che avrebbe penalizzato la proiezione. Tarantino si rifiutò di tagliare alcune scene per ridurre la durata, come proposto dalla Miramax, proponendo, invece, di dividere il film in due. Le due parti così ottenute sono uscite nelle sale di tutto il mondo rispettivamente nel 2003 e nel 2004 a pochi mesi di distanza l'una dall'altra come Kill Bill vol. 1 e Kill Bill vol. 2.

Psylocke (Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock, sometimes spelled as Elisabeth) is a fictional character depicted in comic books published by Marvel Comics, most notably those comics featuring the superhero team the X-Men. The character has also appeared in licensed adaptations. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Herb Trimpe, she first appeared in the UK comic book Captain Britain #8 (Dec. 1976), by the Marvel imprint Marvel UK. She was initially a supporting character in the adventures of her fraternal twin brother, Captain Britain, briefly substituting for him in the role.Later, she became the mutant superheroine Psylocke. Originally presented as a precognitive in the pages of Captain Britain and then as a telepath, the character was eventually written as unexplainedly acquiring the telekinesis of Jean Grey. Psylocke later possesses both telepathy and telekinesis.
Psylocke, il cui vero nome è Elizabeth "Betsy" Glorianna Braddock, è un personaggio dei fumetti creato da Chris Claremont (testi), Herb Trimpe e Fred Kida (disegni). Apparsa per la prima volta sulle pagine di Captain Britain (prima serie) n. 8 (dicembre 1976), pubblicato dalla Marvel UK filiale anglosassone della Marvel Comics, venne utilizzata inizialmente come personaggio di supporto nelle avventure del fratello del quale prese brevemente il posto diventando anch'essa un Capitan Bretagna. Ben presto il personaggio di Psylocke, così come il gemello Brian, divenne uno dei punti cardine dell'universo mutante della Marvel entrando nella continuity americana con il fumetto New Mutants Annual n. 2 (1986) e divenendo uno degli elementi di punta degli X-Men.
